Livelihood Program - Fresh Green Leaf Lettuce and Crisp Romaine Now Available

In our ongoing commitment to community empowerment, families enrolled in the Shelter of Joy Program are actively involved in cultivating a variety of edible plants, contributing to the growth of urban farming and agriculture. This endeavor not only imparts crucial agricultural skills to parents but also serves as a foundation for our feeding program and provides sustenance for our scholarship recipients.

Nanay Jayme, a dedicated parent of one of our scholars, would be delighted if you chose to support her by purchasing her freshly harvested green leaf lettuce and romaine. She is eager to offer her assistance and is more than willing to guide you through the harvesting process, should you wish to partake in the experience firsthand.

The proceeds from this initiative are directed towards our Livelihood Program, where families are encouraged to save towards their housing plans, scholarship funds, and participation in our feeding program. Your support not only promotes sustainable livelihoods but also fosters community development and empowerment.
